RHEINMAGNET increases warehouse capacity

The smooth and efficient realisation of customer requirements - in particular with regard to rapid delivery - is top of the agenda at RHEINMAGNET.


In order to ensure the company's customary high level of service in the face of constantly rising customer numbers, RHEINMAGNET needed to increase its warehouse capacities.

In virtually all industries, businesses face a major challenge to achieve significant increases in performance and capacity using modern warehouse technology combined with rational workflows. Short routes and rapid response times are the cornerstones of customer-orientated order processing. At RHEINMAGNET, alongside our customary quality, ensuring on-time delivery and demand-orientated management is our top priority.

After restructuring the old warehouse and six months of construction work, an additional modern warehouse building was added to the existing facility in May 2009. The building, which covers around 300 square metres, now features a new, high-rack warehouse with a capacity of around 1,800 cubic metres of storage. Electronic recording of warehouse stock using EAN barcodes ensures a precise overview of stock levels at all times.

Thanks to the new central warehouse, RHEINMAGNET is able to supply its products to all European customers from a single location. The increased warehouse capacity accompanies a constant expansion of the product range and significantly increases the availability of RHEINMAGNET's products. The efficient logistics system has allowed the company to take a further step towards continuously extending its nationwide and pan-European presence. In doing so, the company has once again underlined its familiar outstanding customer service.
