REACH Chemicals Regulation
The coming into force of the European REACH (1907/2006/EC) chemicals regulation on 01.06.2007 also leads to obligations on our part. In order to be able to define these obligations exactly and to participate appropriately in the communication along the delivery chain, it was first important to determine our so-called role with respect to the products in question.
In accordance with RIP 3.8, all of our products are exclusively "Products without intentional release".
In the resulting role as a downstream user, we have neither to pre-register nor to register substances. We shall of course observe the development of the so-called List of candidates very closely in order to meet our information obligations arising from Article 33 if required. From the Overview of our relevant products, it can be seen which of our products contain substances from the ECHA list of candidates in a concentration of >0.1%. Furthermore, this list also takes into consideration the requirements of the so-called Phthalates Directive 2005/84/EC and of DIN EN 71-3 In order to guarantee our ability to deliver, we are in contact with our suppliers with regard to the pre-registration of the substances required for the manufacture of our products. Whether our products will still be available in an unchanged form in future depends on whether the substances required for manufacturing our products are registered or not.
