Our PERMADYM® 5068 quality magnetic tapes have very high magnetic holding forces.
This is possible due to the use of neodymium-iron-boron (NdFeB) components in the magnetic powder.
On request, PERMADYM® 5068 magnetic tapes can be equipped with self-adhesive coating.

Possible Applications
Due to its extremely high magnetic holding force, PERMADYM® 5068 magnetic tape is suitable for particularly tough applications. This means that the magnetic tape can be used, for example, to hold heavy components or heavy tarpaulins. PERMADYM® 5068 is also increasingly used for stronger fasteners, such as gate locks or very robust bag closers.
Permadym contains neodymium (neodymium-iron-boron) magnetic particles. This allows us to achieve unusually high magnetic forces for a magnetic tape. However, the material is only suitable for outdoor use to a limited extent and is somewhat more brittle than "normal" magnetic tapes.
Permadym magnetic tapes are already equipped with a 3M self-adhesive coating.
In many applications, experience has shown that magnetic tapes with a lower adhesive strength can already meet the respective requirements. We will help you find the right magnetic tape for your purposes. Our experts will be happy to advise you at any time.
We also have PERMADYM® 5068 magnetic foils in various thicknesses in our range. The foil can be cut or punched to the millimetre on request. The magnetic foil is also available without a self-adhesive coating, but can be provided with a self-adhesive finish on request.
